About triSistah 4:12

Our mission is to connect women's hearts to the heart of God and communities of faith.
We are spreading the Gospel, building Christ's kingdom and
empowering women to change their world.
We believe...
...in a triune God - Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
...that Jesus Christ is the resurrected Son of God.
...that the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, lives in us,
guiding and directing our lives, providing us with a God-centered world view.
...that the Bible is the infallible, God-inspired truth.
...that we were created to serve and praise God.
...that we were created to spread the Good News of our risen Savior,
transforming every heart we encounter.

When I was twelve years old, I accepted Jesus into my heart. I remember being at an altar call at a youth retreat in Dallas. Even now, if I close my eyes and focus, I can still recall that moment vividly. I can relive the sting of the hot white tears streaming down my face as I cried out to Him to save me. I spent the next 23 years falling in and out of love with Jesus, mostly out of love and creating a mess of the life that I offered to Him.

Sixteen years ago, the Lord called me back into a love relationship with Him. This time something was different. This time I was ready to submit and surrender my life like never before. This time, God had my undivided attention. I joined a local church, started serving the Lord, and I never looked back at what the world had to offer me.

While I was busy working my plan, God was busy working His plan in me. I went to nursing school, although I never wanted to be a nurse. Who knew that there was a nurse inside of me? God did! As my life unfolded God called me to serve in many other positions for which I didn't believe I was necessarily suited or qualified. In my nursing career, God lead me to teach. Today, I am an educator doing what I love to do. Teach. Who knew there was a teacher inside of me? Once God had me hooked, He flipped the script and He called me to teach the Gospel. Now I can see that everything that He led me to do was a time of preparation and training. I started facilitating women's bible study. It was there that I started providing mentoring and life coaching for women. My style of teaching is the uncut and unapologetic Gospel message of God's grace and great love for us. In my experience, people connect on a more personal level when we combine the Good News of Jesus of Christ with humor and our personal testimony.

In 2011, with a desire to mentor God's people to better health I founded a passion project and outreach ministry called 4 His Temple. The mission of the ministry is to glorify God by honoring Him with our temples through healthy living and service. You can find us on facebook at 4-His-Temple.

In 2011, I heard a clarion call to preach the Gospel. Who knew there was a preacher inside of me? In 2012, my ministry partners and I launched our women's ministry, triSistah4:12 Ministries. The mission of this 501(c)3 non-profit global outreach women's empowerment ministry is to help women get connected to God and to the local church.

My great love and joy is my son, Joshua Paul. His life and love for the Lord demonstrates that the last 16 years have been worth every moment. My prayer is that his children and children's children will reap the harvest of choosing, knowing, and serving our God.

When I look back over my life I can see how the Lord was orchestrating every step, even when I was out of step with Him. Giving myself to the Lord, when I was 12, 16 years ago, and today is still hands down THE best decision I've ever made for my life.

I am a woman after God's own heart, wife, mother, daughter, sister, mentor, and all around sistah-friend. In 2003, at a T.D. Jakes Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference, I heard and answered a divine call to serve the Lord through women's ministry. It was my mission to create a ministry to connect with women so they would not have to go through life's journeys without a sistah-friend, rooted and grounded in the Word of God. So in that same year, I founded Sistah Talk Ministries. Because every round goes higher, my latest endeavor is triSistah4:12 Ministries, a 501(c)3 women's outreach ministry that I co-founded. God + Sistahhood+ Community = triSistah4:12.

God has fashioned me to use the broken pieces of my past through raw transparency as a platform of our ministry as we connect to woman who may be lost, broken, and lonely. My message is simple: In all we do and in all we go through, we are already victorious in and through Jesus Christ. My story for His glory!

I have worked over 20 years in health care as a health information management professional. I have two beautiful children, Steve and Heather.

I am a living testimony that "God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT)"

As a Pastor's Kid, I was born & raised on the pew. My childhood days were filled with music, creativity, laughter & the love of a close-knit family. The principles instilled in me by my parents provided a strong Christian foundation that I can always run to, no matter where I am in my journey.

My life has brought many blessings my way. I have earned two degrees - a B.A. in French & an MBA. I married my college sweetheart in April 2004 and we have 4 munchkins that I wouldn't trade for the world (Nessaja Camille, Jaden Knight, Nikko Amari, and Zion Storm). And I am the proud owner of Papillon, a Creative Photography Boutique based in Pearland, Texas. But all of these blessings didn't come without some storms. My family had to weather storms of death, miscarriage, and separation before we arrived at the peaceful place we are living in now. I had to realize that being laid off of a job that offered security, but no path to my destiny was God's way of freeing my hands to receive the true blessing that he had in store for me - Papillon. Although the road was filled with uncertainty, and I still have a lot of growing to do, I can truly say that I love what I do and I am walking the path that was created for me.

As a co-founder of triSistah4:12 Ministries, I feel such gratitude to be able to help ladies along their journeys by sharing my trials and triumphs. God has been so good to me, using my storms to strengthen me.

God is Love...Love is Life...
Live in Love.
